Do you know an outstanding youth in New Westminster? Honour and celebrate their accomplishments by submitting a nomination.
The New West Youth Awards are designed to recognize the accomplishments and contributions of youth in New Westminster. There are five award categories for youth and one award for adults that have supported youth in their journey towards success. The categories and criteria are mostly Parks and Recreation-based to highlight youth accomplishments while participating in our programs and community events. The awards also help establish and maintain a positive environment and outlet for our city's young people.
All nominees will receive a New West Youth Legacy Package (aka: swag bag full of goodies!) and award winners will each receive a $100 honorarium. Additionally, youth category winners will also receive a letter of reference.
The New West Youth Awards ceremony is an invite-only event celebrated durning Youth Week May 1-7.
