Here's a closer look at what our afterschool Drop-in programs are all about and why they are great opportunity for youth aged 11-18.
Are you looking for a place where your pre-teen or teen can hang out after school, have fun, and develop new skills in a safe and welcoming environment? New Westminster Youth Services offers a range of drop-in programs that provide just that!
What is a Youth Drop-in?
Youth drop-in programs offer a flexible and low-barrier way for youth to engage in a variety of activities. Unlike traditional recreation programs, drop-ins have less structure, allowing youth to take charge of their own experience. This means they can come and go within limits, participate in activities that interest them, and create their own fun. Trained youth workers are always present to ensure a safe and supportive environment. Most Drop-in visits are just a dollar! More on that below.
Middle School (age 11 - 13) / Neighbourhood After School Drop-in
